I am a tiny citizen who lives in Earth, grandson of refugees fron spanish civil war that reached south America to dream in liberty, independence and freedom, both economical and intelectual, at family and individual levels. Because freedom, liberty and independence is for people not for politicians wanting to create more and more bureaus to enlarge budgets and their power: states.
Please maintain for eternity, until armagedon if ...you can, your cultures, beauty as any one other, there are not better cultures or nicer ones. All have the same right. All nations.
Maybe you do not need a State to defend your language and dances and all culture therein.
I offer this option that my Aitite and Aita used to said oftenly: i) lets give Scotland , Pays Basque "francais" and Catalonia what have impulsed the economy in Navarra and Euskadi (basque lands in Spain), Foral rights to manage their taxes and fiscality, a real advantage that brings more financial resources to improve health, education, society. ii) lets impulse from central power the normal development and/or recovery of co official languages, or at least let them get in Constitution in the case of France and Britain, as Spain did since the end of 1970's decade. iii) and maybe the more inportant to half of people: lets have representation in sports international events for Euskal Herria and Catalonia, as Scotland enjoys since decades.
These 3 little details would calm the insufled moods of voters as intentionally handle by interesed tropical oil funded castro-marxist "polititians" in iberian peninsula and new oiled demagogic ones in Britain.
I repeat, nations does not need states to survive, bad politics and ideologies need burocracy of states to flame their blinded view of society.
If Caesars could not engulf the only proto european and pre indoeuropean language, not even atrocity genocide of Franco, and never will do the neo Kaïserization of a whole continent of peace, harmony, respect, progress, multilateral recognition, etc., finish cultures so deeply rooted, no. But be aware of internal intentionalities of little obsesed "polititians in all 3 nations I mention in this lines.
